City on a Hill

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many” -Jesus

A full life is not the same thing as “life to the full”.

Life is full of commitments—work, family, school, personal goals—and sometimes it feels like there just isn’t enough time in the day. We can feel as if we’re just too busy to say yes to one more thing, too busy to serve, too busy to give our lives away.

But what if serving is actually what God uses to bring balance and purpose to all those other areas? Serving is central to the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. When we look at how Jesus lived, we see that He was all about putting others first—whether it was healing the sick, feeding the hungry, or journeying to the cross.

For those who follow Him, serving isn’t just something nice to do; it’s a pathway towards transformation. Join us this September as we learn the necessity, significance, power, and need for servants who lead like a city on a hill.
